You have asked us to expand our broadband more quickly, so we listened. We now resell a very good
DSL Broadband service that is available anywhere DSL is available from the phone company. This
means that those of you in Kalkaska, Mancelona, Charlevoix, Traverse City, and many more locations
across not only our area, but across the country can now get DSL from COLI. This service starts as
low as $29.99 per month. If you are interested, please e-mail your name, phone number, and home

DSL does require that you have a phone line from either AT&T (SBC), Verizon (Not the Torch Lake
area), Bell South, or Qwest. Second, there is a distance limitation to DSL, so not everyone can
get it. Speeds and prices vary by area and provider. This is a different service than our
wireless and does not require an antenna on the outside of your home. You also can use the phone
and the internet at the same time and all setups include a wireless firewall router so that you can
wirelessly move around your home and can have more than one computer online at the same time.
